Welcome to the home of Laura Holt – a freelance travel and lifestyle journalist with 18 years’ experience, who has acted as a National Geographic panellist and judge, and appeared as a guest speaker on Mariella Frostrup’s Times Radio show.
She’s edited her own adventure-travel magazine for people in their 30s and 40s, which covered everything from male mental health to careers, food and music, and written for publications including Travel+Leisure, AFAR, The Telegraph, Conde Nast Traveller and many more. She’s also contributed to books for Rough Guides and Red Bull, written columns for Globetrender and held senior roles for leading brands such as Intrepid, Flash Pack, Aman, Mr & Mrs Smith and Culture Trip.
In her early career, she worked on the award-winning travel team at The Independent, where they twice won best travel section of the year.
